Sketches of the Month
December
December was a rough month for me. My grandfather passed away. he was like a dad to me so its really affecting me. Besides that, news on the Kickstarter, it was Unsuccessful, well that stinks, but its ok I'm going to keep pushing and learn how to Market Toilet Paper Trash better. enjoy the art below!
My grandfather died on the 12th of December 2025. I made this the night it happened. It was already an idea floating around in my head, and then after he passed away i just had to execute the idea. No one will ever truly know how much i will miss this man, he was a father to me.
Christmas Eve, I went to his grave to see him. I also left a semi-truck toy there; he was a semi-truck driver for 40 years. The church bells were ringing when i said my goodbyes to him, God that made me cry so much.
Another comic strip, I wanted to play around with the page and express some emotions.
now let's get off the topic of some sad stuff. I wanted to draw some girls and i was looking on Pinterest and found these images, so i drew them.
some more Pinterest studies. I don't think i actually like Pinterest. it is so overwhelmed by AI Slop that you never know what the hell you're looking at. odds are the guy with the mask was a design by AI -_- but i was interested in the clothing.
A study page where i was thinking about a lot of different things. This is what my brain looks like.
I love the design of this guy. he doesn't fit into any of my IP's but nonetheless he is a cool design.
Sometimes you just got to draw a gnarly creature.
When i was drawing this i was thinking about the fish people from the first couple issues of Black Science by Remender and Scalera, one of my fav runs, i have all the volumes ;)
I've been trying to play with more page layout ideas. Terry from Toilet Paper Trash will be doing something like this in later issues.
I'll leave you with this spiffy shrimp
