Sketches of the Month
Each month, I update this page to showcase some of my favorite sketches of the month. Some will be shown on social media, but a lot of them donāt have a place to be shared. So hereās a look into my sketchbook!
Sketches are from August 25.

Nure, possibly a new character for something, I'm not entirely sure. She feels very similar to my newest character the Ripper. I will probably do a more finished version of this after my baby is born.
Rize, she feels very similar to one of my characters Emma from my mutant series, the three watercolor and acrylic paintings. perhaps this is her sister.
I have been drawing a lot of faces lately. I'm trying to improve how I draw humans, and well I'd say there is some improvement here!
Some more stylized faces. I got a gig-based job as a caricature artist for Awesome Family entertainment, so I needed to really practice caricature art. I've worked the job twice now, it's so fun!
Naruto. nothing super special here, it's basically a master copy.
this is Ghost girl, a character created by my hommie Brandon Mullins. She shows up in a one-shot comic he published. Use the tag to find Brandon on social media.
I have also been practicing my environments. this was done during my break from raising canes. I had less than 20 minutes to draw this.
another break study. these food trucks are always parked by my work.
this is an interesting scene to me. i love weird things in our environment, and well a dumpster with some scooters hanging around is pretty weird. I also threw my tag Gezo on their. I've been thinking about making that my new art name. Gezo was my graffiti tag from high school.
a guard shack at my wife's job. this is the smoke spot. also, there is never a guard in the shack.
two interesting compositions I sketched. I really enjoy the left one, it's very rough, but it is a kid hiding from his parents as they argue. the right one is a journeyman finding a cool sci-fi thing in a mountain scape.
Thank you for checking out August's Sketches of the Month! Use the discount code, get yourself something nice :) the month of September is going to be interesting, my second child will be born this month for sure, so I may not be able to draw as much for a little bit.
